1.    What are the eligibility criteria for SSC?

Age limit: The age limit is different for the various SSC exams. As on 01-01-2020, the minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum limit should not exceed 32 years of age.

-    Age Relaxation:

SC/ST     -         5 years
OBC        -         3 years
PH           -         10 years
PH+OBC -        13 years
PH+SC/ST -      15 years
 

Qualification: The candidate must have graduated from a renowned university or institution. For the different posts in SSC 2020, the qualification varies as follows:

-    Junior Statistical Officer:

An institution with a minimum of 60% marks in 12th standard Mathematics
                                          OR
Bachelor’s degree from any university with Statistics as one of the subjects
                                          OR
Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a well-recognized university

-    Statistical Invigilator Grad-II post:

Bachelor’s degree with Statistics as one of the subjects
                                          OR
Bachelor’s degree from any well-recognized university with a minimum of 60% score in 12th standard Mathematics

-    Assistant Accountant Officers/ Assistant Audit Officer:

Qualification as CA/MBA/CS/Cost and Management Accountant/ Masters in Business Studies/ Masters in Commerce
                                          OR
Bachelor’s from any recognized university

-    Other posts:
Bachelor’s from a recognized University
Students from the last year of graduation can also apply (if he has all the other important documents)

 SSC exam is held in two Tiers: Tier-I and Tier-II

-    Statistics
-    English Language and Comprehension
